Wanted! Enthusiastic Chamber Members For Our Legislative Action Network Team!
As a concerned business person, would you be willing to volunteer time to help advance the agenda of our governmental affairs committee thereby contributing to the betterment of the business climate in Vermont?
If the answer is "Yes", then you will join an enthusiastic and dedicated group of Chamber members who, in additional to the Chamber's regular weekly Legislative Updates, will receive other special alerts, as required.
Most importantly you'll be working in support of our experienced team of lobbyists (Duane Marsh, Michael Belyea, Vicky Tebbetts, Chris Carrigan, and Chuck Nichols) as we collectively work to secure the mission of our 2008 Government Affairs Program.
Remember, too, that this combined "grass-roots" effort can spell the difference between success and failure as we seek to advance the interest of our members state-wide.
Therefore the single most important role is contacting your legislator prior to key votes.
