Vermont Hospitality Council Award Nominations
Annually the Vermont Hospitality Council presents five awards to honor the best in the tourism industry. Click on the links below for a nomination form for the following awards:
- Borden E. Avery Innkeeper of the Year Award: The Borden E. Avery Innkeeper Award is the Vermont hospitality industry's most prestigious award, designed for an individual who has held a long time, high profile position in the state's tourism industry.
- The B & B Innkeeper Award: The B & B Innkeeper of the Year Award is designed for an individual who continues to demonstrate excellence in the operation and management of a smaller sized Vermont bed & breakfast or inn.
- The Restaurateur of the Year Award: The Restaurateur of the Year Award is designed for an individual who continues to demonstrate excellence in the operation and management of a restaurant in Vermont.
- The Allied Member of the Year Award: The Allied Member of the Year Award is designed for an individual who goes above and beyond everyday business practices in offering a service that supports the hospitality industry in Vermont.
- The Chef of the Year Award: The Chef the Year Award is designed for an individual who has a proven history of supporting Vermont's agricultural economy through the use of local food and products. The Chef of the Year also donates time or services to the community at large through the operation and management of a restaurant in Vermont.
The winners of the Vermont Hospitality Council Awards will be announced at the second annual VHC Hospitality Gala, September 17th at the Stratton Mountain Club in Stratton.
